Welcome to the Animal Welfare League of Arlington’s Calendar Contest Fundraiser!

Now is your chance to give your pet the ultimate spotlight with their photo on the cover of our 2021/2022 16-month calendar! (September 2021 to December 2022) Each photo entry and vote equals life-saving funds that care for animals in need. From tiny kittens, senior pups, injured wildlife, pet parents in need, and everything in between, your support guides us on our mission to improve the lives of pets and people in Arlington County.

So what are you waiting for? Scroll through the 300 pictures of your pet on your camera roll to find the perfect shot, or get the camera and treats out and start snapping. May the cutest pet win!

New this year:

• Full-month features of your winning pet! That’s right, the top 15 pets will receive an exclusive full month feature, so bring you’re A-Game, the competition just got real!
• December 2022 will be a winning feature of an AWLA staff favorite pick, so get that camera out and make us smile, anyone can take this one!
• Special new entry fee! This year it is just $10 to enter the competition. Note that calendars are not included in entry, but are available for separate purchase.
• Voting begins April 1 and ends April 15 with calendars available for purchase for an extra week after voting closes. The final calendar purchase date is April 22. There will be no availability after April 22, so be sure to get your orders in. Calendars will once again be shipped directly to your home, shipping is included in the calendar price.

• Your pet’s photo on the cover of our 2021 calendar
• A professional photo-shoot with Mike Leonard Photo*
• A feature on the inside cover of the calendar.
• Your pet featured in an AWLA social media post to announce them as the contest winner!
• A complimentary calendar and special AWLA delivery.

*Dependent on Covid-19 safety guidelines (may only be available for pets that can be safely taken outdoors).

Monthly Featured Winners (15)

• The next 15 pets with the highest number of votes each receive a calendar month feature. Full page, above the fold.
• Each winner will receive a complimentary calendar and special AWLA delivery.

• The December 2022 month feature will go to the special mention that wins the hearts and popular vote of the AWLA staff, anyone can take this one home regardless of standing in the overall contest!
• A complimentary calendar and special AWLA delivery.
