I was listening to the radio yesterday and learned about a new album that features musicians from each of the world’s 197 countries. It was designed to celebrate people’s ability to transcend physical borders through the unifying power of music and is called Together Is Beautiful.
Like music, animals have the ability to unify people of all ages and walks of life. The unconditional love and companionship that animals provide gives us comfort, constancy, and solace, especially in unsettling times like these.
With your support, we can return the favor and heal sick and injured animals, and find loving families for homeless pets. You do this.
Your generosity allows us to help our community members keep and care for their beloved companions. You stock our Pet Pantry and enable us to partner with fellow nonprofits, like Bridges to Independence and Culpepper Gardens, to provide resources for their clients and ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the love of a pet.
In the coming weeks, you will hear from a number of my colleagues and learn how we at AWLA work together to achieve our mission. Whether virtually or in person, thank you for standing with us to improve the lives of animals, and people, in our community.
