Dr. Snow is a Virginia native through and through. She grew up in Roanoke, attended undergraduate at William & Mary, and veterinary school at Virginia Tech. After graduating, she left the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains behind to move to the DC area for a taste of city life. She spent 17 years in small animal private practice in Fairfax and Arlington. She left the workforce to be home with her kids for the 2020-2021 virtual school year, and started volunteering regularly at AWLA during this time. Now, she is excited to be getting back to work and joining the team as the Veterinary Director! Dr. Snow lives in Arlington with her husband, two daughters, and their rescue dog Norman. When not working she enjoys travel, hiking, skiing, visiting the area’s many cultural attractions, and cheering for her kids at their youth sports games.
