Shannon is the founder and owner of Make Progress Strategies, a branding and marketing company that works with nonprofits to develop strategic messaging and communications. She is a 2019 graduate of Leadership Arlington and has extensive community involvement experience, most often through board service. In addition to the AWLA board, Shannon is a past Chair of the Columbia Pike Partnership board, has served on the Arlington Chamber of Commerce board, and participates in her neighborhood civic association. Shannon enjoys pilates, spending time with family and friends, and a good glass of wine. She lives in Arlington, VA with her husband and two daughters.
