DazyMae’s foster family told us, “DazyMae is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly! She has warmed up to our household in no time and has quickly become a loyal little shadow. She’s a quiet, gentle soul who loves to play, whether she’s zooming around with her favorite toy or trotting happily around the house.
She is fully house-trained (yay!) and can often be found snuggling at your feet while you work from home or curled up on the couch for an afternoon snooze. She’s an easy, well-mannered companion to have around who sleeps soundly through the night in her crate with her favorite blanket.
She’s great at respecting boundaries and is appropriate in her interactions with adults, children (including our 7 year old and neighbors of different ages that she’s met), and our resident AWLA foster fail, Holly the Hound. She can sometimes be shy at the first introduction, but it didn’t take long before she integrated right into our routine. While she’s still working on her leash manners, with the right mix of patience and tasty treats, I have no doubt she’ll catch on in no time!
DazyMae is ready to bring love, laughter and endless cuddles to her forever home. If you are looking for a pup to shower with love, she’ll give it right back!
· DazyMae’s favorite things are cuddles, nature walks, naps, tennis balls, and treats.
· She’s not so into loud noises or sudden, startling movements.
· Her special talents are curling up at your feet wherever you are sitting and coming quickly if you’re offering a treat.
· Her perfect day would be hanging out by your side with a healthy balance of playtime, walking, and relaxation.
· If DazyMae was an ice cream flavor, she would be homemade strawberry – pure nostalgia and comfort with a natural sweetness.”
